ADG3249 is a 2.5 V or 3.3 V, high-performance 2:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer bus switch manufactured on a low-voltage CMOS process with low power consumption, high switching speed, and very low on-resistance. The input can be connected to the output without causing additional propagation delay or additional ground bounce noise. When turned on, the conductivity of each switch in the ADG3249 is the same in both directions. The device is open-to-close and prevents transient short-circuits when switching channels.
This device is ideal for applications that require level translation. When powered from a 3.3 V supply, the 3.3 V input level can be converted to a 2.5 V output level. Similarly, if the device is powered from a 2.5 V supply and a 2.5 V input is applied, the device will be converted to a 1.8 V output. In addition, the device contains a level-shifting pin(). When low, VCC is internally lowered, allowing the 3.3 V input level to be converted to a 1.8 V output level.
The AD3249 is available in a small 8-pin SOT-23 package.
