Proprietary curvature correction design techniques minimize nonlinearities in the temperature characteristics of the voltage output. The device is stable using capacitive loads of any size.
The ADR1581 has a low minimum operating current, making it ideal for use in battery-powered 3V or 5V systems. However, the device's wide operating current range makes it extremely versatile and suitable for a wide range of high-current applications.
ADR1581 are divided into A and B levels, both of which are available in SOT23 and SC70 packages, which are currently the smallest surface mount packages. Both grades are rated for the -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range.
