ISL28470 – The industry's first quadruple instrumentation amplifier. The device features low offset voltage, excellent CMRR performance, and rail-to-rail input and output capabilities.
The ISL28470 instrumentation amplifier is part of Intersil's new pinPOINT precision analog product line, offering very high accuracy with industry-leading maximum offset voltage (+/-150 mV) and a typical CMRR (common-mode rejection ratio) of 110 dB. The device is optimized for a single 2.4V to 5V supply and has a voltage range of 10mV above the positive rail and below the negative supply.
As the industry's first quadruple instrumentation amplifier, the ISL28470 simplifies design and cuts cost in applications that require precise control of multiple variables simultaneously. For most instrumentation cards, this quadruple capability eliminates the need for multiple dual or single instrumentation amplifiers. This monolithic, 6mm x 9.9mm QSOP solution is virtually smaller than most competing dual-channel devices available, further saving board space.
For applications that would not benefit from the quadruple function, the new rail-to-rail instrumentation amplifier product family is also available in single/dual versions with excellent signal/dynamic range ratio and voltage offset performance. Single-channel products include: EL8170, EL8171, EL8172 and EL8173. Dual channel products include: ISL28270, ISL28271, ISL28272 and ISL28273.
