description

The LTC®2754 is a family of four-channel 12-bit and 16-bit multiplication serial input, current-output digital-to-analog converters. They operate from a single 3V to 5V power supply and guarantee monotonicity over the entire temperature range. Without any adjustments, the LTC2754A-16 provides full 16-bit performance over the entire temperature range (±1LSB INL and DNL, max). These SoftSpanTM DACs offer six output ranges (up to ±10V) that can be set via a three-wire SPI serial interface or can operate over one output range via pin lap.

The contents of all on-chip registers, including the DAC output range setpoint, can be verified in just one instruction cycle; And if you change any register, it will be automatically read back in the next instruction cycle.

The devices also offer voltage-controlled offset and gain regulation; Moreover, both the power-on reset circuit and the CLR pin reset the DAC output to 0V (regardless of the output range).
