The MAX17114 generates all rails of thin-film transistor liquid crystal displays (LCD TV panel operation) from the tube voltage input.It includes a buck and boost regulator, positive and negative charge pumps, an operational amplifier, high accuracy, high voltage reference, and a high voltage switching control block.The MAX17114 can operate from an input voltage from Hurley to 16.5V and is optimized for running LCD TV panels directly from DC supplies.

The boost and buck switching regulators have internal power MOSFETs for high-frequency operation allowing the use of smaller inductors and capacitors, resulting in a compact solution.The boost regulator provides the liquid crystal source driver supply voltage, while the buck regulator provides the logic supply voltage of the system.Regulators use a fixed-frequency current-mode control architecture that provides fast load-transient response and simple compensation.An internal switch and output-fault shutdown of a current-limiting function protects step-up and step-down power supply fault conditions.The MAX17114 provides a soft-start feature that limits the start-up of inrush current.In addition, the MAX17114 integrates a control block that can drive an externally channeled MOS sequence power source driver.

Positive and negative charge pump regulators provide the thin-film transistor gate driver supply voltage.The output voltage is adjustable with an external resistor voltage-dividers.a logical control,High voltage switchThe block allows the supply of positive gate drivers to be manipulated.The MAX17114 includes a large currentOperational amplifiersDesign drives the LCD backplane (repair).The amplifier has high output current (±200 mA), fast slew rate (45V/μ county), wide bandwidth (Hz), and rail-to-rail output.

Also on display is the MAX17114, a high-accuracy, high-voltage adjustable reference gamma correction.

The MAX17114 is available in a small (7mm×7mm), ultra-thin (0.8mm), 48-pin, tqfn-EP package and operates in a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
