MPXA4100AC6U 20 to 105kPa integrated silicon pressuresensor, temperature compensated and calibrated
The MPxx4100 family (MPX4100, MPX4100A/MPXA4100A, and MPXAZ4100A series) manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensors are designed for engine control and sense absolute air pressure within the intake manifold. This measurement can be used to calculate the total amount of fuel required per cylinder. With their small size and high reliability integrated on-chip, Freescale's MAP sensors are a reasonable and economical choice for automotive system designers.
The MPxx4100 series piezoresistive sensors are the latest monolithic, signal conditioning, silicon pressure sensors. Combining advanced micromachining techniques, thin-film metallization, and bipolar semiconductor processes, the sensor provides an accurate, high-level analog output signal proportional to the pressure being measured.
