The LM5033 high voltage PWM controller contains all the functions needed to implement push-pull, half-bridge, and full-bridge topologies. Applications range from closed-loop voltage-mode converters with highly regulated output voltages, or open-loop "DC transformers" such as intermediate bus converters (IBCs) with efficiencies > 95%. Two alternating gate driver outputs guarantee dead time. The LM5033 includes a start-up regulator that operates over a wide input voltage range of 15V to 100V. Other features include: precision reference output, current limit detection, remote shutdown, soft-start, synchronization capability, and thermal shutdown. The total propagation delay of this high-speed IC is less than 100 ns and a 1MHz capable oscillator.
