The AD5330/AD5331/AD5340/AD5341 are single, 8-/10-, 12-bit DACs that operate from 2.5 V to 5.5 V and consume only 115 μA at 3 V, down to 80 nA in power-down mode. Each device integrates an on-chip output buffer that drives the output to both rails simultaneously; The AD5330, AD5340, and AD5341 allow a choice of buffered or unbuffered reference inputs.
The AD5330/AD5331/AD5340/AD5341 each have a parallel interface. composed.CS Select the device and the data is inWRis loaded into the input register.
The GAIN pin allows the output range to be set from 0 V to VREF or 0 V to 2 × VREF.
The input data of these DACs is double-buffered and therefore utilizedLDACPins can update multiple DACs in the system at the same time.
An asynchronous/CLR input pin is also provided to reset all the contents of the input and DAC registers to zero. These devices also contain a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC output powers up to 0 V and maintains that level until valid data is written to the device.
