The AD5544/AD5554 are 16- and 14-bit, current outputs, respectivelyDigital-to-analog converters(DAC) with an operating voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V.

The double-buffered serial data interface provides high-speed, 3-wire, SPI, and microcontroller-compatible inputs using serial data input (SDI), chip selection (CS), and clock (CLK) signals. In multiple packages, these DACs can also be daisy-chained via serial data output pins (SDOs). With a common level-sensitive, loaded DAC strobe (LDAC) input, all DAC outputs can be updated simultaneously through previously loaded input registers. In addition, an internal power-on reset function forces the output voltage to zero scale when the system is powered on. The MSB pin allows the system reset bit (RS) to force all registers to zero-scale codes when MSB = 0 or to half-scale codes when MSB = 1.
The AD5544 is available in a compact 28-lead SSOP and 32-lead LFCSP package. The AD5554 is available in a compact 28-lead SSOP package.
