The AD5641 belongs tonanoThe DAC family is a single, 14-bit, buffered voltage output DAC® that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply, consumes 75 μA typical at 5 V, and is available in a small LFCSP and SC70 package. It includes an on-chip precision output amplifier that enables rail-to-rail output swing. THE AD5641 FEATURES A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 30 UMHz and is compatible with spi®, qspi,™ microwire™, and dsp interface standards. The reference voltage of this device is derived from the power input, so it has the widest dynamic output range. The device has one built-inPower-on reset circuit, ensure that the DAC output powers up to 0 V and maintains that level until a valid write is performed on the device.

The AD5641 features a shutdown feature that reduces the typical power consumption of the device to 0.2 μA at 3 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load. Shutdown mode can be entered through the serial interface. In normal operation, the device features low power consumption, making it ideal for portable battery-powered devices. This onenanoDAC devices combine a small package with low power consumption, making them ideal for meeting level-setting requirements, such as biasing or controlling voltages in space-constrained, power-sensitive applications.
