The AD5641 features a shutdown feature that reduces the device's typical power consumption to 0.2 μA at 3 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load. Shutdown mode can be entered through the serial interface. In normal operating mode, the device has low power consumption, making it ideal for portable battery-powered devices. This nanoDAC device combines a small package with low power consumption, making it ideal for level setting requirements, such as bias generation or voltage control in space-constrained, power-sensitive applications.
