AD7175-2It is a low noise, fast settling, multiplexed, 2/4 channel (fully differential/pseudo differential) Σ-Δ typeAnalog-to-digital converters(ADC) for low bandwidth inputs. For fully settled data, the maximum channel scan rate is 50 kSPS (20 μs). The output data rate ranges from 5 SPS to 250 kSPS.
The AD7175-2 integrates key analog and digital signal conditioning blocks that allow the user to configure individually for each analog input channel used. The user can select functions individually for each channel. Integrated true rail-to-rail buffers at the analog input and external reference input provide a high impedance input that is easy to drive. A precision 2.5 V low drift (2 ppm/°C) bandgap internal reference with output reference buffer adds embedded functionality while reducing external component count.
The digital filter provides simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection at an output data rate of 27.27 SPS. The user can switch between different filter options based on the needs of each channel in the application. The ADC automatically switches between each selected channel. Further digital processing features include offset and gain calibration registers, which can be configured on a per-channel basis.
The device operates from 5 V AVDD1 or ±2.5 V AVDD1/AVSS and 2 V to 5 V AVDD2 and IOVDD supplies. The AD7175-2 is specified over the −40°C to +105°C temperature range and is available in a 24-lead TSSOP package. Note that throughout the data sheet, only the relevant function refers to the dual-function pin name.
