AD7608BSTZ 8-channel DAS with built-in 18-bit, bipolar, synchronous sampling ADC
The AD7608 is an 18-bit, 8-channel synchronous sampling analog-to-digital data acquisition system (DAS) with built-in analog input clamp protection, a second-order anti-aliasing filter, a track-hold amplifier, an 18-bit charge redistribution successive approximation ADC, a flexible digital filter, a 2.5V reference, a reference buffer, and high-speed serial and parallel interfaces.
The AD7608 operates from a single 5V supply and can handle ± 10V and ±5V true bipolar input signals, while all channels can sample at throughput rates up to 200 kSPS. The input clamping protection circuit can withstand voltages up to ±16.5V. The AD7608 has an analog input impedance of 1 MΩ regardless of the sampling frequency. It operates from a single supply with on-chip filtering and high input impedance, eliminating the need to drive an op-amp and an external bipolar power supply. The AD7608 antialiasing filter has a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 22 kHz; At a sampling rate of 200 ksps, it has 40 dB anti-aliasing suppression. The flexible digital filter is pin-driven to improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and reduce bandwidth by 3 dB.
