AD8114/AD81151 Both are high-speed, 16 × 16 video crosspoint switch matrices with –3 dB signal bandwidth greater than 200 MHz and 1% settling time of channel switching less than 50 ns. Both devices have –70 dB crosstalk performance and –90 dB (5 MHz) isolation, making them suitable for many high-speed applications. Differential gain and differential phase are better than 0.05% and 0.05°, respectively, and the 0.1 dB flatness of 25 MHz when driving 75 Ω rear terminated loads is ideal for a wide range of signal switches.
The AD8114/AD8115 contain 16 independent output buffers that can be placed in a high impedance state to provide parallel crosspoint outputs, so that the shutdown channel does not load the output bus.AD8114It has a gain of 1 and the AD8115 has a gain of 2. Both operate from a ±5 V supply and consume only 70 mA idle. Channel switching is implemented via a serial digital control interface (allowing multiple devices to be daisy-chained) or a parallel control interface; Each output can be updated independently without reprogramming the entire array.
The AD8114/AD8115 are available in a 100-lead LQFP package and operate over the –40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range.
Evaluation boards are available in the AD8114-EVAL and AD8115-EVAL order models. The schematic and layout of the evaluation board can be found in the product data sheet.
