Product Details:

ADG3257 is a CMOS bus switch with four built-in 2:1 multiplexers/deplexers that provide high impedance output. It is manufactured using a CMOS process and features low power consumption, high switching speed, and very low on-resistance. The input can be connected to the output without increasing propagation delay or creating additional ground bounce noise.

ADG3257 operates from a single 3.3 V/5 V supply. The control logic of each switch can be found in the "Truth Table" in the data manual. When turned on, these switches are bidirectional. Under disconnection conditions, the signal level to reach the supply voltage is blocked.

This bus switch is suitable for both switching and level-shifting applications. When powered from a 3.3 V supply, it can be used in applications that require the conversion of 3.3 V to 2.5 V levels. In addition, if a diode is connected in series with a 5 V VDD, ADG3257 can also be used in applications requiring 5 V to 3.3 V level conversion.
