ADIS16203 is a complete single-axis 360° tilt angle measurement system that leverages ADI iSensor™ integration technology to integrate it into a monolithic compact package. Enhancing ADI iMEMS® sensor technology with embedded signal processing solutions, ADIS16203 provides factory-calibrated and tunable digital sensor data that can be obtained in a simple SPI serial port. The SPI interface can obtain measurement data for the following parameters: linear tilt angle, temperature, power supply, and auxiliary analog inputs. Easy access to calibrated digital sensor data provides developers with system-ready equipment, saving development time, reducing costs and project risk.
With several built-in features, including self-zeroing calibration with a single register command and configurable sample rate and frequency response, the end result is a system that is highly prone to unique performance.
ADIS16203 also offers a range of features that further reduce the hardware complexity of system design. These integrated features include configurable alarms, auxiliary 12-bit analog-to-digital converters, auxiliary 12-bit digital-to-analog converters, configurable digital I/O ports, and digital self-test capabilities. ADIS16203 provides two sets of different power management features enabled by the SPI port; Programmable duty cycle sleep mode for systems that do not require continuous operation, and low-power mode for systems that reduce sampling rates for higher efficiency.
ADIS16203 is available in a 9.2mm x 9.2mm x 3.9mm LGA package and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
