The programmable event logger offers two trigger modes. Internal mode monitors continuously sampled data and triggers capture operations based on user-defined thresholds. External mode employs two comparator inputs and a user-defined threshold to trigger event capture actions. The feature also provides user-configurable control over capture length, pre-triggered data, and data storage. Each event is stored by a header that captures temperature, power consumption, and time. Several power management features, including sleep mode and wake-up functions, optimize power consumption based on specific mechanical system requirements.
ADIS16240 is available in a 12mm×12mm laminate-based ball grid array (BGA) package that meets IPC/JEDEC standards (J-STD-020C and J-STD-033) for lead-free reflow processes.
