illustrate
The DAC088S085 is a full-featured, general-purpose octal 8-bit voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can operate from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply consuming 1.95 MW 3V and 4.85 MW 5V. The DAC088S085 is packaged in a 16-pin LLP package and a 16-lead TSSOP package. The LLP package makes the DAC088S085 the smallest OCTAL DAC in its class. The on-chip output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swings and a three-wire serial interface to clock rates up to 40 MHz over the entire supply voltage range. Competitive devices are limited to a clock rate of 25 MHz with a limited supply voltage ranging from 2.7V to 3.6V. SERIAL INTERFACES COMPATIBLE WITH STANDARD SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE AND DSP INTERFACES. The DAC088S085 also offers an unlimited number of DAC088S085s that can be used with a serial interface while updating the Chrysanthemum chain.
There are two references to DAC088S085. One reference input provides channels A to D, while other reference services send 0.5V and each reference through your channelVAn independent setting that provides as much output dynamic range as possible. The DAC088S085 has a 16-bit input shift register that controls the operating mode, power-down state, and register/output values of the DAC channel. All eight DAC outputs can be updated simultaneously or individually.
A power-on reset circuit ensures that the DAC's output power is up to zero volts and remains until a valid write device is available. The DAC088S085's power-down feature allows each DAC to be powered independently with three different termination options. With all DAC channels powered down, power consumption is reduced to less than 0.3μW at 3V and less than 1μW at 5V. The low power consumption and small package of the DAC088S085 make it an excellent choice for battery-powered devices.
The DAC088S085 is a pin-compatible DAC that includes one of the 10-bit DAC108S085 and 12-bit DAC128S085 families. All three devices have the same pins, allowing system designers to choose the resolution that fits their application without having to redesign their printed circuit board offerings. The DAC088S085 operates over an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C
