The DS22EV5110 is a 6.75 Gbps (3 × 2.25 Gbps) optimized and high-performance clock recovery function extension to equalizer for DVI™ and HDMI™ cable extension applications.
It supports 3 data lanes with minimal transmission differential signaling (TMDS ®) and a single clock channel with data transfer rates up to 2.25 Gbps per data channel via DVI™v1.0, HDMI™v1.3a.
The device integrates a configurable receive equalizer, clock and data recovery (CDR) circuitry and de-emphasis drivers for each data channel via DVI v1.0, and HDMI v1.3a data transfer rates up to 2.25 Gbps per data channel.

This clock channel feeds into a high perfromance phase-locked loop (PLL) to regenerate a low jitter output clock data recovery, enabling the expansion of the capabilities of the driving repeater application.
The DS22EV5110 equalizes a version of the 28-gauge AWG HDMI cable larger than 25 meters, enabling 1080p resolution, 12-bit color depth depth (2.25 Gbps) for low-jitter clock and data signal output, reducing deterministic jitter and random jitter.
