The HMC850LC3 is a 1:2 fanoutbumper, supporting data rates up to 28 Gbps and clock frequencies up to 20 GHz. All differential inputs and outputs are DC-coupled and terminated to the positive supply, ground through an on-chip 50 Ω resistor. The output can be used in single-ended or differential mode and should be AC or DC coupled with a 50 Ω resistor to ground.
The HMC850LC3 also integrates an output level control pin, VR, which can be used for loss compensation or signal level optimization. The HMC850LC3 operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
