HMC850LC3 is a 1:2 fan-out buffer that supports data transfer rates up to 28 Gbps and clock frequencies up to 20 GHz. All differential inputs and outputs are DC-coupled and terminated to positive power and ground via an on-chip 50-Ω resistor. The outputs can be used in single-ended or differential mode and should be AC or DC coupled via a grounded 50-Ω resistor.
HMC850LC3 also integrates an output level control pin VR that can be used for loss compensation or signal level optimization. HMC850LC3 operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
