They contain all the active functions, provide fast transient response, and precisely adjust local DC-DC conversion with the smallest possible PCB area. The LM27341 and LM27342 with minimal external components are easy to use. Capable of driving 1.5A or 2A loads respectively with an internal 150mΩ NMOS tube at optimal power density switching results. World-class control circuitry allows times as low as 65 ns, supporting very high frequency conversions. The switching frequency is internally set to 2 MHz synchronous from 1 to 2.35 MHz, allowing the use of very small surface mount inductors and capacitors.
