The LM48411 is a single-supply, high efficiency, 2.5W/channel Class-D audio amplifier. The LM48411 of the state features enhanced emission suppression (E 2 S) system, i.e. using a unique patent-pending ultra-low EMI, spread spectrum, PWM architecture, significantly reduces RF emissions while maintaining audio quality and efficiency. The LM48411 is designed to meet the needs of mobile phones and other portable communication devices. Operating from a single 5V supply, it is delivering less than 10% THD+N of continuous output power from 2.5W/channel to 4Ω load capability Its flexible power requirements allow operation from 2.4V to 5.5V. The wideband-propagated LM48411 spectrum architecture reduces EMI radiated emissions due to modulator frequency.
The LM48411 has higher efficiency than conventional Class AB amplifiers.
