illustrate
The LM4985 is an internal digitally controlled volume-controlled stereo audio power amplifier. The amplifier is capable of delivering 68mW per channelRMSto 16 Load or 38mW per channelRMSto 32 At 1% THD load, a 3.6V supply and capacitor mode operates to power supply.
Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high quality output power with very few external components. To this end, the LM4985 has two functions that optimize system cost and minimize PCB area: an integrated digital control (I2 Cbus), volume control and operating mode, eliminating output signal coupling capacitance (OCL mode). Since the LM4985 does not require bootstrap capacitors, buffer networks, or output coupling capacitors, it is ideal for low-power, battery-powered portable systems. For added design flexibility, the LM4985 can also be configured as a single-ended, capacitively coupled output.
