The LMZ10503's SIMPLE SWITCHER ® power module is a complete, easy-to-use DC-DC solution capable of driving loads up to 3A with excellent power conversion efficiency, output voltage accuracy, line and load regulation. LMZ10503 is an innovative solution that enhances thermal properties and allows for manual or machine welding.
LMZ10503 can accept input voltage rails between 2.95V and 5.5V and provide adjustable and highly accurate output voltages as low as 0.8V. One megahertz fixed-frequency PWM switches provide a predictable EMI characteristic. Two external compensation components that can be adjusted to be set for the fastest response time, while allowing the option to use ceramic and/or electrolytic output capacitors. External programmable soft-start capacitors facilitate controlled start-up. LMZ10503 is a safe, reliable, and powerful solution that features lossless cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting to protect against overcurrent or short-circuit faults, thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, and pre-bias start-up.
