illustrate
The LP3872/LP3875 series of fast ultra-low dropout linear regulators operate from +2.5 V to +7.0 V input supplies. A wide range of preset output voltage options are available. These ultra-low dropout linear regulators respond very quickly to one-step loads, which makes them suitable for use in variations in low-voltage microprocessor applications. The LP3872/LP3875 have been developed with a CMOS process that allows low quiescent current operation with an independent output load current. This CMOS process also enables the LP3872/LP3875 to operate under very low differential pressure conditions.
Dropout: Ultra-low dropout, typically at 150mA load current and 380mV at 1.5A load current.
Ground pin current at 1.5A load current: typically 6 mA.
Shutdown mode: usually 10nA quiescent current, when the shutdown pin is pulled down.
Error#Flag: When the error# flag becomes low, the output voltage drops to less than 10% of the nominal value.
SENSE: Pin sense, improved load adjustment in the remote area.
High-precision output voltage: A wide range of output voltage options are available from 1.8V to 5.0V, guaranteed accuracy of ± 1.5% ± 3.0% at room temperature (different lines, loads, and temperatures).
