The AD7150BRMZ responds very fast, ultra-low powerconverter
The AD7150 uses an ultra-low power converter that responds quickly, providing a comprehensive signal processing solution for capacitive proximity sensors. The AD7151 is a lower power, single channel form factor of the AD7150.
The AD7150 uses Analog Devices' capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC) technology, which combines features that play an important role in interfacing with real-world sensors, such as high input sensitivity, high input parasitic ground capacitance, and leakage current tolerance. An integrated adaptive threshold algorithm compensates for any changes in sensor capacitance due to environmental factors such as humidity and temperature or aging insulation.
By default, the AD7150 operates in standalone mode with a fixed power-on setting and displays detection results with two digital outputs. Alternatively, the AD7150 can be connected to a microcontroller through a serial interface, where internal registers can be programmed with user-defined settings from which data and status information can be read.
The AD7150 operates from a supply voltage of 2.7 V to 3.6 V and is specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
