The AD7302 is a dual, 8-bit voltage output DAC that operates from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply. It includes on-chip precision output buffering for rail-to-rail output swing. The AD7302 has a parallel microprocessor and DSP-compatible interface with high speed registers and double-buffered interface logic. Data is loaded into registers on the rising edge of CS or WR, and DAC A or DAC B is selected for the A/B pins.
The AD7302 has two reference voltage options: slave VDDThe internal reference voltage is obtained or the external reference voltage is obtained through the REFIN pin. Two DACs can take advantage of asynchronyLDACInputs are updated at the same time and can be used asynchronouslyCLREnter to zero.
The low power consumption makes this device ideal for portable, battery-powered devices. Power consumption is less than 10 mW at 3.3 V, which drops to 3 μW in power-down mode.
The AD7302 is available in 20-lead plastic dual in-line, 20-lead SOIC, and 20-lead TSSOP packages.
