The AD8116 is a high speed, 16 × 16 video crosspointSwitch matrix, -3 dB signal bandwidth greater than 200 MHz, 0.1% settling time of channel switching 50 ns. With crosstalk performance of -60 dB and isolation of -105 dB (10 MHz), the device is suitable for many high-speed applications. Differential gain and differential phase error are better than 0.01% and 0.01°, respectively, and 0.1 dB flatness is 60 MHz, making it ideal for switching video signals.
The AD8116 contains output buffers that can be placed in a high impedance state to provide parallel crosspoint outputs, so the shutdown channel does not load the output bus. It operates from a ±5 V supply and consumes only 80 mA idle. Channel switching is achieved through a serial digital control interface that allows multiple devices to be daisy-chained.
AD8116Housed in a 128-pin LQFP package, it is only 0.36 square inches and operates over the 0°C to +70°C commercial temperature range.
