AD9484BCPZRL7-500 8-bit, 500 MSPS, 1.8 V analog-to-digital converter
The AD9484 is an 8-bit single-chip sample-to-digital converter (ADC) optimized for high performance, low power consumption, and ease of use. With slew rates of up to 500 MSPS, the device offers excellent dynamic performance for wideband carriers and wideband systems. All required functions are integrated on-chip, including a sample retainer and a voltage reference, to provide a complete signal conversion solution. The VREF pin can be used to monitor the internal reference or to provide an external reference (the external reference mode must be enabled via the SPI port).
The ADC requires a 1.8 V analog supply and a differential clock signal to maximize its performance. The digital outputs are LVDS (ANSI-644) compliant and support binary complement, offset binary, or gray code formats. The ADC also provides a data clock output for proper timing of output data.
The AD9484 is manufactured using an advanced BiCMOS process and is available in a 56-pin LFCSP package with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. The product is protected by U.S. and international patents.
