The ADG1436 is a monolithic CMOS device with two independent options
Single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch。 The LFCSP package device provides an EN input to enable or disable the device. When disabled, all channels are shut down. When turned on, the conductivity of each switch is the same in both directions, and the input signal range can be extended to the supply voltage range. Under the disconnected condition, the signal level that reaches the supply voltage is prevented. Both switches are open-before-close for multiplexer applications.
ADG1436 usediCMOS®Process design.iCMOS (Industrial CMOS) is a modular manufacturing process that combines high-voltage CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) with bipolar technology. With this process, it is possible to develop a variety of high-performance analog ICs operating at voltages up to 33 V and achieve dimensions that were not possible with conventional high-voltage devices. Unlike analog ICs that use traditional CMOS processes, iCMOS devices can withstand high supply voltages while improving performance, significantly reducing power consumption, and reducing package size.
The on-resistance curve is very flat over the entire analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. The iCMOS architecture ensures very low power consumption, making the device ideal for portable battery-powered instrumentation.
