ADP667It's a one
Low dropout precision regulator, which can provide an output current of up to 250 mA. It can be used to provide a fixed +5 V output without additional external components; When two external resistors are used, they can be used to provide an adjustable output from +1.3 V to +16 V. Fixed or adjustable operating modes are automatically selected via SET input. The device has a low quiescent current of 20 μA and has a standby or shutdown mode (0.2 μA), making it ideal for battery-powered systems. At 100 μA, the dropout voltage is only 5 mV, allowing the device to operate with very little headroom and extend battery life. At higher output currents, dropout voltage remains low, increasing to only 150 mV at 200 mA. The input voltage range is wide from 3.5 V to 16.5 V.
Other features include a dropout voltage detector and a low supply voltage/battery level monitoring comparator. When voltage regulation fails, a dropout detector can be used to signal the relevant information, while a low battery detector can be used to monitor the input supply voltage.
The ADP667 is a pin-compatible replacement to the MAX667 that is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in 8-lead DIP and narrow body surface mount (SOIC) packages.
