HMC749LC3C is a T-trigger with integrated reset function and supports clock frequencies up to 26 GHz. When working properly, if the reset pin is not placed, the output switches to its previous state on the edge of the clock. In this way, the two-way frequency of the clock input can be achieved. Positioning the reset pin forces the Q output to be low, regardless of the clock edge state (asynchronous reset bit). Inverting the clock input supports negative edge triggering applications. HMC749LC3C also has an output level control pin VR for loss compensation or signal level optimization.
All HMC749LC3C input signals are terminated to the Vcc via a 50Ω on-chip and can be AC or DC coupled. The input or output can be connected directly to the 50 Vc termination system, while DC-blocking capacitors can be used if the termination system is 50 Ω grounded. HMC749LC3C operates from a single +3.3V DC supply and is housed in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
