The LM5008A The LM5008 COT buck switching regulator is a functional variant. The functional differences of the LM5008A are: the minimum input operating voltage is 6 volts, the time equation is slightly different, and the minimum load current requirement is removed.
The steps of the LM5008A switching regulator provide all the functions needed to implement a low cost, high efficiency, buck bias regulator. This high voltage regulator contains a 100 volt N-channel buck switch. The device is available in easy-to-implement MSOP-8 and thermally enhanced LLP-8 packages. The regulator is inversely proportional to the V plan based on the time the control is used ON. This feature allows the operating frequency to remain relatively stable. The requirements of the regulatory scheme do not require loop compensation. Implementing smart current limit forces the shutdown time, which is inversely proportional to VOUT. This program ensures short-circuit control while providing minimal switchback. Other features include: thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, undervoltage lockout, maximum duty cycle limiting gate drive, VCC on, and a pre-charge switch.
