illustrate
LM20343 is a full-featured synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering up to 3A of load current. The external current mode controls loop compensation and consists of only two parts, providing high performance and ease of use at the same time. The unit is optimized for operating over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V, making it suitable for high-voltage systems.
The device features internal overvoltage protection (OVP) and overcurrent protection (OCP) circuitry, enhancing system reliability. A high-precision enable pin and integrated undervoltage lockout allow for tight control and sequencing of the device. Both a fixed internal and external adjustable soft-start circuit limits the inrush current at start-up. May be associated with integrated power supply good (PGOOD) circuit fault detection and power sequencing.
The frequency of the device can be adjusted from 250 kHz to 1.0 MHz by connecting an external resistor RT pin to ground.
LM20343 work in multi-rail power architecture design. The output voltage of the device can be configured to track a higher voltage rail using SS/TRK pins. If the LM20343's output is pre-biased to start, it will not draw current and pull the output low until the internal soft-start ramp exceeds the voltage feedback pin.
LM20343 is a 20-pin eTSSOP package with exposed pads that can be soldered to the PCB, eliminating the need for bulky heatsinks.
