illustrate
The LP3853/LP3856 series of fast and ultra-low dropout linear regulators operate from +2.5 V to +7.0 V input supplies. A wide range of preset output voltages are available. These ultra-low dropout linear regulators respond very quickly to loads, which makes them suitable for low-voltage microprocessor applications. The LP3853/LP3856 is developed on the CMOS process for low quiescent current, allowing for independent operation of the output load current. This also allows the CMOS process to operate the LP3853/LP3856 under extremely low dropout pressure conditions.
Differential pressure: ultra-low differential pressure; Typically at 300mA load current, 3A load current at 390mV and 39mV.
Ground Pin Current: Typically 4mA load current of 3A.
Shutdown mode: Normally, the shutdown pin is pulled down at 10nA quiescent current.
^Error flags: ^When the error flag becomes low, the output voltage drops by less than 10% of the nominal value.
SENSE: Needle feel is improved in remote load adjustment.
High-precision output voltage: Multiple output voltages are available ranging from ± 1.5% accuracy guaranteed from 1.8V to 5.0V and ± 3.0% at room temperature, under all conditions (different lines, loads and temperatures).
