The LP3470 is a micro-CMOS voltage monitoring circuit design, power monitoring microprocessor (μP) and other digital systems. It provides maximum adjustable power-on reset (POR) and supervision functions. It is available in six standard reset threshold voltage (V RTH) options: 2.63V, 2.93V, 3.08V, 3.65V, 4.00V, 4.38V, and 4.63V. If voltage options such as 2.4V and 5.0V are required, please contact your national semiconductor company representative.
The LP3470 asserts that the V CC supply voltage at the time of the reset signal is below the reset threshold. Reset timeout period regulation uses external capacitors. After reset, it is still the time interval between V CC that has exceeded the threshold voltage rise (programmed by an external capacitor).
The device is available in a tiny SOT23-5 package.
