description
The LTM®9012 is a 4-channel, simultaneously sampled 14-bit μModule® analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an integrated fixed-gain differential ADC driver. The low-noise amplifier is suitable for single-ended drive and string signals (e.g., imaging applications). Each channel includes a low-pass filter between the driver output and the ADC input.
DC specifications include ±1.2LSB INL (typical), ±0.3LSB DNL (typical), and no-miss codes over the entire temperature range. Conversion noise is low at just 1.2LSBRMS.
The digital output is a serial LVDS, with two bits per channel output at a time ("two-wire" mode). The option to output one bit at a time per channel at a lower sample rate ("single channel" mode) is available. LVDS drivers have optional internal termination and adjustable output levels to ensure clean signal integrity.
ENC+ and ENC- inputs can be differentially or single-ended driven using a single sine wave, PECL, LVDS, TTL, or CMOS input. An internal clock duty cycle stabilizer achieves high performance at full speed and multiple clock duty cycle conditions.
