illustrate
The LMS75ALS176A is a differential bus/line transceiver designed for bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It is designed for balancing transmission lines. It complies with ANSI standards TIA/EIA RS - 422-B, TIA/Environmental Impact Assessment RS485-A and ITU recommendations V.11 and X.27. The LMS75ALS176A combines a three-state ™ differential line driver and a differential input receiver, both of which operate from a single 5.0V supply. The driver and receiver have aggressive high and aggressive low enablement, respectively externally connected to the direction control function. The differential inputs of the driver and receiver are internally connected to form a differential input/output (I/O) bus designed to provide a port with minimal load on the bus whenever the driver is disabled or VC = 0V. These ports feature a wide range of positive and negative common-mode voltages, making the device suitable for multi-point applications in noisy environments. The LMS75ALS176A is available in an 8-pin SOIC package. This is a socket replacement for TI's SN75ALS176A drop.
