• Product Introduction

The A1357 device is a high-precision, programmable, two-wire, Hall-effect linear sensor IC with pulse-width modulation (PWM) current. The A1357 device converts analog signals into digitally encoded PWM output signals through its built-in Hall sensor element. The coupled noise immunity of digitally encoded PWM is much better than that of analog output signals.

The A1357 features a BiCMOS monolithic circuit that integrates a Hall element, high-precision temperature compensation circuitry to reduce the sensitivity and offset drift inherent in Hall components, a small signal high-gain amplifier, a proprietary dynamic offset cancellation circuitry, and a PWM conversion circuit. Dynamic offset cancellation circuitry reduces the residual offset voltage of the Hall component, which is typically caused by the overmolding, temperature dependence, and thermal stress of the device. High-frequency offset cancellation (chopper) clocks support higher sampling rates, resulting in improved output signal accuracy and faster signal processing capabilities.

The A1357 sensor is available in a 3-pin, single-in-line, lead-free package (KB suffix) with a 100% matte tin plated pin frame.
