The A1357 features a BiCMOS monolithic circuit that integrates a Hall element, high-precision temperature compensation circuitry to reduce the sensitivity and offset drift inherent in the Hall element, a small signal high-gain amplifier, proprietary dynamic offset cancellation circuitry, and PWM conversion circuitry. Dynamic offset cancellation circuitry reduces the residual offset voltage of the Hall element, which is typically caused by device overmolding, temperature dependence, and thermal stress. High-frequency offset cancellation (chopping) clocks allow higher sample rates to improve the accuracy of the output signal and enable faster signal processing.

The A1357 sensor is available in a 3-pin single in-line lead-free package (KB suffix) with 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
