AD7153BRMZ 12-bit capacitive-to-digital converter (1 capacitive input channel) 

The AD7152/AD7153 are both 12-bit sigma-delta capacitive-to-digital converters (CDCs) that allow the capacitance to be measured to be connected directly to the device input. The device structure has inherent features such as high resolution (12-bit loss-free, up to 12-bit effective resolution) and high linearity (±0.05%). Both devices have four capacitance input ranges in each operating mode: ±0.25 pF to ±2 pF in differential mode and 0.5 pF to 4 pF in single-ended mode.

The AD7152/AD7153 accept a maximum 5 pF common-mode capacitance (immutable), which can be balanced by a programmable on-chip digital capacitance converter (CAPDAC).

The AD7153 has one capacitive input channel, while the AD7152 has two channels. Each channel can be configured as a single-ended input or differential input. Both devices are designed for floating capacitive sensors.

Both the AD7152 and AD7153 have a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface. Both are available from a single 2.7 V to 3.6 V supply and are rated for a temperature range of −40°C to +85°C in a 10-pin MSOP package.
