ADuC7060 low power, precision analog microcontroller, dual channel

The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 are fully integrated 8 kSPS, 24-bit data acquisition systems that integrate a high performance multichannel sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a 16-bit/32-bit ARM7TDMI® MCU, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.

The ADC consists of a 5-channel primary ADC and a maximum of 8-channel auxiliary ADC that can operate in single-ended or differential input mode. A single-channel buffered voltage-output DAC is provided on-chip and the DAC output range can be programmed to one of two voltage ranges.

These devices generate up to 10.24 MHz of internal high-frequency clock signals through an on-chip oscillator and phase-locked loop (PLL). The microcontroller core is ARM7TDMI, a 16-bit/32-bit RISC machine with peak performance up to 10 MIPS. On-chip 4 KB SRAM and 32 KB of non-volatile Flash/EE memory are integrated. The ARM7TDMI core treats all memory and registers as a linear array.

The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contain four timers. Timer 1 is a wake-up timer that wakes the device from power-down mode; Timer 2 can be configured as a watchdog timer. A 16-bit PWM with six output channels is also provided.

The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contain an advanced interrupt controller. This vector interrupt controller (VIC) can assign a priority to each interrupt. It also supports nested interrupts, allowing up to 8 levels of nesting per IRQ and FIQ. If you combine IRQ and FIQ interrupt sources, you can support a total of 16 levels of nested interrupts. The on-chip firmware is available for online download via the UART serial interface port, as well as non-intrusive emulation via the JTAG interface.

These devices operate from a 2.375 V to 2.625 V supply and operate over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.
