The HMC726 is an AND/NAND/OR/NOR gate designed to support data rates up to 13 Gbps and clock frequencies up to 13 GHz. The HMC726 can be easily configured to provide any of the following logical functions: AND, NAND, OR, and NOR. All signals input to the HMC726 are terminated to on-chip with a 50 Ω resistor and support AC or DC coupling.
The differential outputs of the HMC726 can be AC or DC coupled. The output can be connected directly to a 50-Ω grounded termination system, while a DC-blocking capacitor can be used if the 50-Ω termination is used to a non-grounded DC voltage. The HMC726 operates from a single -3.3V DC supply with a power consumption of only 230 mW and is available in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
