The HMC726 is an AND/NAND/OR/NOR gate designed to support data transfer rates up to 13 Gbps and clock frequencies up to 13 GHz. The HMC726 can be easily configured to provide any of the following logic functions: AND, NAND, OR, and NOR. All signals input to the HMC726 are terminated to on-chip ground through 50 Ω resistors and are AC- or DC-coupled.
The differential outputs of the HMC726 can be either AC or DC coupled. The output can be connected directly to a 50 Ω ground-terminated system, while DC blocking capacitors can be used if 50 Ω terminated to an ungrounded DC voltage. The HMC726 operates from a single -3.3 V DC supply and consumes only 230 mW in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
