The LM3435, a synchronous rectified non-isolated flyback converter, has all the features needed to achieve an efficient and cost-effective RGB LED driver. Unlike traditional flyback converters, the LED jumpers are internally passed to the corresponding LED pin element at the VOUT pin and the VIN pin. Therefore, the voltage in the LED can be higher, equal to or greater than the low voltage of the input power supply.

LEDs with load currents up to 2A are with voltages ranging from 2.0V to 4.5V LEDs. The integrated N-channel MOSFET master, P-channel synchronous MOSFET and three N-channel current-regulated low-pass switches allow for the number of components, reducing complexity and reducing board size.
