LM48310 is a single-power, high-efficiency, mono, 2.6W, switching audio amplifier, filter. LM48310 uses the enhanced emission suppression (E) of National Semiconductor 2 S) system, which uses a unique patent-pending ultra-low EMI, spread-spectrum PWM architecture that greatly reduces RF emissions while maintaining audio quality and efficiency. My E 2 S system, improving battery life, reducing the number of external components, board area consumption, system cost, and simplifying design.
LM48310 is designed to meet the needs of portable multimedia devices. The device operates from a single 5V supply and is capable of delivering less than 10% THD+N of 2.6W continuous output power to a 4Ω load Flexible power requirements allow operation from 2.4V to 5.5V. LM48310 offers two logically selectable modulation schemes, a fixed frequency mode, and an EMI suppression spread spectrum mode. My E 2 The S system includes an advanced, patent-pending Edge Rate Control (ERC) architecture that further reduces emissions and minimizes the high-frequency component of the device's output while maintaining high-quality audio reproduction (THD + N = 0.03%) and high efficiency (η = 88%). LM48310 also features a SYNC_IN input and SYNC_OUT that allows multiple devices to operate at the same switching frequency, eliminating interference caused by beat frequencies and any other clock intermodulation.
LM48310 has high efficiency compared to traditional Class AB amplifiers and other low-EMI Class D amplifiers. When driving an 8Ω speaker and running from a 5V power supply, the device operates at an efficiency of 88%P O = 1W. The LM48310's gain is set internally at 12 decibels, further reducing the number of external components. The low-power shutdown mode consumes 0.01μA of supply current.
Advanced auto-recovery output short-circuit protection against damage to equipment under fault conditions. Advanced click suppression eliminates audible transient noise when power-up/down and off.
