illustrate
LM96080, LM80 compatible, hardware monitor contains a 10-bit delta-sigma ADC capable of measuring 7 positive voltages and local temperatures. The LM96080 also measures the speed of both fans and includes an additional hardware monitoring 2 Comet ® interface. The LM96080 includes a sequencer that performs a window comparison that supervises all measured values and interrupts the output when any value exceeds the programmed limits.
The LM96080 is an interface that is particularly suitable for linear and digital temperature sensors. An LSB of 2.5 mV (least significant bit) and an input voltage range of 2.56 volts are ideal for accepting input from linear sensors such as the LM94022. ^ BTI is used as either a digital or thermostat sensor such as LM73, LM75, LM56, LM57, LM26, LM27, LM26LV, or other LM96080 inputs.
The LM96080 supports standard mode (SM, 100 kbit/s) and fast mode (FM, 400 kbit/s), and I 2C interface operation mode. The LM96080 includes a 2C digital control line for my analog filter, allowing improved interference immunity and supporting timeout reset after SDA and SCL, which can prevent my 2C bus from latching. The 3-I 2C device address pin allows up to 8 sections on a single bus.
The LM96080's 3.0V to 5.5V supply voltage range, low supply current, and 2C interface make it ideal for a wide range of applications. Guaranteed operation of ≤ T A ≤ +125 °C over the temperature range of (-40)°C. The LM96080 is available in a 24-pin TSSOP package.
