The LTC™1043 is a monolithic, charge-balanced, dual switched capacitor instrument building block. Alternately connect a pair of switches to an external capacitor input voltage, and then connect the charging capacitor through the output port. Its internal switch has a breakthrough before taking action. Provides an internal clock whose frequency can be compared to an external capacitor. The LTC1043 can also be driven by an external CMOS clock.
The LTC1043, when used at low clock frequencies, provides ultraprecision dc functionality without the need for precise external components. This feature is differential voltage single-ended conversion, voltage reversal, voltage multiplication and division 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. The LTC1043 can also be used for accurate VμF and FμV circuits without trimming, and it is also a block for building switched capacitor filters, oscillators, and modulators.
The LTC1043 is manufactured on Linear Technology's enhanced LTCMOS ® silicon gate process.
