description
™The LT 1178 is a micropower dual op amp in a standard 8-pin configuration, and the LT1179 is a microquad op amp that is available in a standard 14-pin package. Both devices are optimized for single-supply operation at 5V. Specifications also provide ± 15V power supply.
Very low supply current combined with true precision specifications: offset voltage of 30μV and offset currentis 50pA. These two offset parameters drift low with temperature. 1.5pAp-P current noise and picoampere cancellation currently allow the use of source resistors in the megohm-range range without causing serious errors. The voltage noise, 0.9μVp-P, is a very low supply current.
The LT1178 and LT1179 can operate from a single supply (one lithium battery or two nickel-cadmium batteries). The input range is below ground. All NPN output stages fluctuate within a few millivolts to ground, and sinking currentno power dissipation pull-down resistors is necessary.
Three times higher supply current is acceptable, single micro LT1077, LT1078 dual and LT1079 quad recommended. Los LT1077/78/79 tienen un ancho de banda significativamente mayor, velocidad de giro, ruido de bajo voltaje y una mejor capacidad de unidad de salida.
