The XC9128/XC9129 series are step-up synchronous rectification DC/DC converters that use ceramic capacitors, 0.2Ω built-in N-channel driver transistors and 0.2ΩP-channel synchronous rectifier switch transistors. By reducing the low-on-state open-circuit resistance of the built-in transistor, the input current can reach 1.0A. High efficiency and stable current drive are realized.
When the load is 1kΩ, the input voltage starts operation from 0.8V, and when the load is 33Ω, the input voltage starts from 0.9V (when set to VOUT=3.3V), so only 1 alkaline battery is required to operate.
With a tuning frequency of up to 1.2MHz, a choice of small inductors, and the ability to boost from a low voltage, it is ideal for a wide range of portable products.
The built-in output voltage is 0.45V (±0.01V) reference power supply and external resistor, and the output voltage can be set arbitrarily in the range of 1.8V~5.3V.
Using the mode selection terminal, PWM control or PWM/PFM automatic switching control can be selected, in the case of selecting PWM/PFM automatic switching control, when the load current is small, the PFM control with small tuning loss starts to work; When the load circuit is large, the transition to PWM control is automatically achieved, thereby achieving high efficiency in the entire load area.
In addition, built-in circuitry that automatically transitions smoothly to PWM control and PFM control reduces output ripple over the entire load area
