illustrate
The DAC102S085 is a full-featured, universal dual 10-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can operate from a single +2.7 V to 5.5V supply, consuming 0.6 MW at 3V and 1.6 MW at 5V and 1.6 MW. The DAC102S085 is available in a package, 10-pin LLP and MSOP package. The 10-pin LLP package makes the DAC102S085 the smallest dual-channel DAC in its class. The on-chip output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing and a three-wire serial interface clock frequency up to 40 MHz over the entire supply voltage range. Competitive devices have limited clock rates of 25 MHz with supply voltages ranging from 2.7 V to 3.6 V. SERIAL INTERFACES COMPATIBLE WITH STANDARD SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE AND DSP INTERFACES.
The reference service channel of the DAC102S085 can vary the voltage of 1V and V to provide as much output dynamic range as possible. The DAC102S085 has a 16-bit input shift register that controls the output, operating mode, power-down condition, and binary input data to be updated. Two outputs, which can be updated simultaneously or separately, depend on the setting of the operands for both modes.
Power-on reset circuitry ensures that the DAC output power is up to zero volts and persists until there is a valid write device. The power-down feature reduces the power consumption ratio below the microwatt with three different terminal options.
The low power consumption and small package of the DAC102S085 make it an excellent choice for battery-powered devices.
The DAC102S085 is a pin-compatible DAC family that includes the 8-bit DAC084S085 and the 12-bit DAC122S085. The DAC102S085 operates over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
