DAC102S085 is a full-featured, general-purpose dual-channel 10-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can operate from a single +2.7 V to 5.5V supply, drawing 0.6 megawatts at 3V and 1.6 megawatts at 5V and 1.6 megawatts. DAC102S085 are packages, 10-pin LLP and MSOP packages. The 10-pin LLP package enables DAC102S085 the smallest dual-channel DAC in its class. The on-chip output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing and three-wire serial interface clock frequencies up to 40 MHz over the entire supply voltage range. Competing devices have limited clock rates of 25 MHz in the supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V. Serial interface compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP interfaces.
DAC102S085 reference service channel can vary voltages from 1V to V to provide as much output dynamic range as possible. DAC102S085 has a 16-bit input shift register that controls the output, operating mode, power-down status, and binary input data to be updated. The two outputs, which can be updated simultaneously or separately, depend on the settings of the operating bits of both modes.
Power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC's output power is up to zero volts and remains until there is an effective write device. The power-down function reduces power consumption below microwatts compared to the three different terminal options.
The low power consumption and small package DAC102S085 make it an excellent choice for using battery-powered devices.
DAC102S085 is a pin-compatible DAC series that includes 8-bit DAC084S085 and 12-bit DAC122S085. DAC102S085 operates over an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
