illustrate
DAC128S085 is a full-featured, versatile eight-channel 12-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can consume 1.95 megawatts and 4.85 milliwatts at 3V from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply. DAC128S085 is packaged in a 16-pin LLP package and a 16-lead TSSOP package. The LLP package makes DAC128S085 the smallest octal DAC in its class. The on-chip output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing and three-wire serial interface clock frequencies up to 40 MHz over the entire supply voltage range. Competing devices have limited clock rates of 25 MHz in the supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V. Serial interface compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP interfaces. DAC128S085 also offers an unlimited number of DAC128S085s that can use a single serial interface while daisy-chaining the operation.
There are two citations for DAC128S085. One reference input is channels A through D, while other reference services can be set to send on a separate channel at 0.5V and V through each of your references, providing as much dynamic range as possible. DAC128S085 has a 16-bit input shift register to control the operating mode, power-down conditions, and register/output values of the DAC channel. All 8 DAC outputs can be updated simultaneously or individually.
Power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC's output power is up to zero volts and is retained until there is an active write device. DAC128S085 power-down feature allows each DAC to be powered independently with three different termination options. All DAC channels are powered off, and power consumption is reduced to less than 0.3μW at 3V and less than 1μW at 5V. The low power consumption and small package DAC128S085 make it an excellent choice for using battery-powered devices.
DAC128S085 is a pin-compatible DAC series that includes 8-bit DAC088S085 and 10-bit DAC108S085. All three devices have the same pins, allowing system designers to choose one resolution that is appropriate for their application without having to redesign what their printed circuit board offers. DAC128S085 operation, extending the industrial temperature range to +125°C for -40°C
