The HI5760 is a 10-bit, 125MSPS, high-speed, low-power/converter that is implemented in an advanced CMOS process. From a +3 V single +5 V supply, the converter provides a full-scale output current of 20mA and includes an edge-triggered CMOS input data latch. Low surge energy and excellent performance in the frequency domain achieve the use of a segmented current source architecture. For a dual-channel version with equivalent performance, see the HI5728. The equipment complements the CommLink™HI5X60 Intersil company, which includes 8, 10, 12 and 14-bit devices that provide high-speed converters in the family.
